Abstract: Two very unique courses have been developed in the SDSU Physics Department. Aimed at Freshmen, 107 is a one-semester introduction with math teeth and a lab. Targeting the Junior level, 333 is a compact restatement and extension of lower-division physics. Each course includes several unusual features intended to promote positive student responses. This informative presentation is meant to give the Department and College a background on which to base related future curriculum decisions.
