Award - MS student awarded scholarship, off to National School on Neutron and X-ray Scattering

Masters Student Derek Padilla was awarded a Wilmia Tyler Trott Memorial Scholarship for the 2008-09 academic year. Derek was also accepted to participate in the National School on Neutron and X-ray Scattering at Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago, IL. Derek is studying properties of novel materials under high pressure for his research with Prof. Torikachvili.
