Award - Physics Major selected for a NIW Fellowship

Congratulations to Rita Philavanh, a Physics Major, who has been selected for a NIW (New Interdisciplinary Workforce) fellowship from the NIH, administered through the CSRC. She will be working with Prof. Baljon and study computationally the mechanical properties of temporary crosslinked networks. These studies will be compared with experimental data on the behavior of the F-actin cytoskeleton networks in cells.
