For the second year in a row SDSU has been rated the #1 small research university in the nation (offering fewer than 15 PhD programs). Two of our programs have been named in the top 10 in the nation, the PhD in Computational Science was ranked #9, while the Math and Science Education was #2 in the Mathematics Education category.
