Homepage Suzanne Sorger: Physics Department Administrative Support

I started working in the Physics Department office in the Fall of 1995. I was responsible for the production of the first physics department newsletter as well as cleaning out the skeletons in the department storeroom. My background is in Graphic Arts, I received my fine art's degree from SDSU in 1980 and worked at UCSD for 13 years as a Program Representative/Graphic Artist. I have two sons, Andrew 16 and Robin 13, whose combined decibel level is rivaled only by our pet cockateel, Happy Shoulder Eater. As a registered super mom I excel at chauffeuring my sons to school and sports events and laundering two kips of dirty laundry per week. I enjoy working in the low key atmosphere of the physics department office and mastering the daily challenge of decoding some of the professors' handwriting.
