Fridolin Weber is 2017 Albert W. Johnson Lecturer and Distinguished Professor

Professor Fridolin Weber of the Department of Physics will be the 2017 Albert W. Johnson University Research Lecturer and Distinguished Professor of Physics.  This accolade honors Professor Weber’s leadership in the field of compact objects in astrophysics, and in particular the possibility of “quark stars.”

 

Professor Weber will give a lecture on Friday, April 7, 2017, following the Physics Department Open House, from 3-5pm, Storm Hall west, room 11, with reception to follow.
