All Undergrads: to receive Department news there is a phys-ugrads email list to subscribe to. All undergraduates are encouraged to join the SPS (The SPS also maintains an SPS email list).

Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Physics Major (and Faculty)

Every year the Faculty nominate their Outstanding Students based on their GPA and their Senior research. The student who receives the award then gets to nominate their 'Outstanding Faculty Award', the person who inspired, encouraged and whose teaching was invaluable to them.
